Children’s Ministry

“Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.” — Proverbs 22:6

Children and young people are a really important part of life at Emmanuel Church. We love creating a space where children can have fun, build friendships, and grow in their understanding of who Jesus is.

Sunday Club

On the first, third, and forth Sundays of each month, we run groups for children aged 3 to 10.

Children begin the service with their families and stay in the main service until the end of worship. They then head upstairs to their groups on the first floor, where they are warmly welcomed by our team of leaders and helpers.

Our groups are:

• Sparklers (Pre-school to Reception) – Room One

• Fireworks (Years 1–6) – Room Two

Each group follows a fun and engaging programme, including Bible teaching, games, creative activities, worship, and prayer—all tailored to their age group.

All our leaders and helpers are safely recruited and hold up-to-date DBS checks.

 

New to Emmanuel?

If you’re new and would like your child(ren) to join Sunday Club, we’d love to welcome you. Please introduce yourself to our Children’s Leader, Lexie Arthey, who will be happy to help you get settled.
