ECB started in December 2002 and was originally a church planted from
St. Aldate's and St. Ebbe's in Oxford. We are part of the Church of
England and the Parish Church of St. Edburg's in Bicester graciously
welcomed us within its Parish.
ECB is what is known as a 'Fresh Expressions' Church. Basically that
means we are allowed to be different from traditional church. At the
moment we worship in Bure Park School and since we started we
have grown from an initial congregation of 25 people to around 100 including 45
children.
We are a charismatic, evangelical, Anglican church. Together we
are learning to focus on God in our daily lives, aiming to be a focal point in
our community and supporting those serving the poor both locally and in
other countries.
